Westboro transit station in Ottawa's west end was transformed into a disaster scene when a packed double-decker bus slammed into a shelter, shearing off the vehicle's front and side. Officials have confirmed three people died in the accident and nearly two dozen were injured and taken to hospital, some in critical condition.
